St Joseph's NS is a small, mixed, rural Primary School in South Tipperary. It is in the village of Ballingarry. There are 59 students and 4 teachers in our school.

Hurling
On Tuesday we have hurling training with Don Lyons the best trainer in the south of Tipperary. We train for 40 minutes on the dot. This year we are in the Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Championship 2011 Roinn E . We will be playing ten a side .

Claire's Birthday
On Saturday 22nd we went bowling and we ate in Eddy Rocket's and then we went to Claire's Accessories.On our way home,we got a surprise party.

In early Janurary there have been lots of floods in the Southern Hemisphere.
Countries such as Brazil and Australia have been affected.
Six hundred people have died in Brazil lots of people are dead in Australia.
Fast floods in the two countries destroyed cars, trucks and vans. Crocodiles and snakes have been spotted in the floodwaters.

Rugby and guitar lessons.
Every Friday I go to rugby for Fethard Under 13.
On Tuesday I go to John Birmingham for guitar lessons and I also go to a 2nd rugby training on that day.
Our rugby training starts at quarter to 7 and ends at 8 o clock.
Also my guitar lessons start at half past 8 and ends at 9 o clock.

Last Weekend
I went to the cinema on Sunday. I went to see Gulliver's Travels in 3D. It was on in Thurles. I thought that it was very good. It was funny.

On Saturday Mammy got a new horse. She is very quiet. Her name is Misty. She is grey and white.

Our Christmas Holidays
I helped my Mam to cook the Christmas food. I had a nice Christmas. Santa left presents for me and my brothers.

I watched movies. I got toys. I had a good Christmas.

I woke up at two o'clock in the morning to see if Santa had left any presents. I gave Mammy three Christmas presents. Santa gave me loads of toys.

I woke up at three o'clock and I saw my presents under the tree. Mammy opened the present that I gave her. I helped Mammy around the kitchen.
Michaela Morrissey (2nd Class)
I got a remote control helicopter and PSP games for Christmas. I got up at half past one and then at half past three. The presents were there at half past three.

New Year, New Students
When we came back to school after the Christmas holidays we were delighted to welcome three new students to St Joseph's. Their names are Kaitlyn, Lauren and Cameron.
