Mid-term Break

On Thursday I am going to Kildare Village to buy a new tracksuit. On Friday I'm going to sleep in.

I would like to go shopping on Friday to buy clothes. I will go for a walk on Thursday to the lane. I am going to Splashworld with my Nan on Sunday. I am sleeping at my cousin's house on Saturday.

It is mid-term break this week and I am going to the cinema to see the film Gnomeo and Juliet. My cousin is coming too. We will go to Thurles cinema.

World News

In Nothern Africa protests are getting worse. Tunisa started the protest . President Ben Ali has fled the country. His wife fled the day after. She went to the bank to get some gold ingots. Egypt is the worse of them all. They have been more violent then ever. Some people are in hospital and other people are carrying dangerous weapons like knives hammers and stones.People have died and tourists were to stay in their rooms or leave immediately.

Fire Safety Talk

Liam and Billy are firemen. The men came from Cashel. They gave us a pack of games about fire safety. We had a wordserch and a sheet for us to colour.

Used Clothes Collection

We will hold a used clothing and old mobile phone collection at the school on Wednesday, February 9. We accept clothing in any condition as long as it's clean. We also accept shoes, belts, handbags, ties, sheets etc.
Bags must be left at the school before 9.30 on the morning of the collection.

St Brigid's Day

Today is St Brigid's Day. Some of the older children made crosses out of rushes. We all learned about St Brigid today.
