Yesterday the 12th of April we had a retreat for our Confirmation. It was for 5th and 6th classes of all four schools in the Parish. It was from half past 9 to 3 o' clock. There were three people there with us. They put us in teams and every so often there would be games for points. Which ever team got the most points would win a box of roses. Our team won the roses and we shared them. Our teacher came down to the hall at lunch time to give us our lunch. We were allowed outside to run around. It was a great day !!!

Primary Games Football!
On the 5th of April I went to New Inn to represent my school at the Primary Games Football Trials. There were 62 children trying their hardest to impress the selectors. There were three teams of 15 made before the day but some people didn't turn up on time,so we had to make do. I was on the first team. There were some people I know from soccer and hurling. My team was the first team to play. We had 15 players so did the other team. The third team had to play the first team we played. Some of our team had to go with that team because they didn't have enough players. Two teams played two matches and one team had to play three matches. I enjoyed the time there and I represented my school well.

Primary Games Hurling!
Last Wednesday I went to the primary games for hurling trials in New Inn. There was about 40 or 50 children competing for a place for the team that will play at half time at the first Tipperary Championship match of the season in the Munster quarter Final against Cork at Semple Stadium. There was about the same number of children at the trials the day before aswell. I was hoping to be called back but unfortunately I was not called back. I enjoyed representing my school.
