Limericks

There once was a young man from Mayo

Who nobody wanted to know

He brought bad luck                                              

And always got stuck

Especially during the snow

There once was a girl from Athy

Who got a bug stuck in her eye

She went to the doc

Who gave her a shock

And then the girl started to cry

There once lived a dog in Tralee

Who got stung by a big bee

He opened his mouth  

And let out a shout

And he was heard in Chile.

Because he was very, very bad.

There was a young man from Clare

Who dreamt he flew up in the air.

He jumped on a plane

Which took him to Spain

And no-one knew how he got there.

There was a tall girl from Spain

Who thought she was going insane.

She went out to sea

And got stung by a bee,

And never went back there again.

There was a young man from Chad

And a compass was all that he had.

So he travelled East

And then slayed a beast

But after killing it, he felt rather bad.
