On the 23rd of June I woke up at quarter past 7 and ate my breakfast. I went down to Londis to get my lunch. I went to school and then I got on to the bus.
I was sitting in the back. We went to Limerick to see Carambola. We got to see where they make the the lunches.
Then we went to Bunratty Castle and Bunratty Folk Park. We went to an old street and an old school. We went to Craggaunowen. We saw bronze age houses and a Fulacht Fhia ana a Crannóg. When we were going two ponies broke out of the field. My favorite part of the tour was Craggaunowen.
The journey home was long.
I was tired after the tour.

Our School Tour
Yesterday, June 23rd, was our school tour.
We got onto the bus at eight o'clock. It took a long time to get to Limerick. First we went to the Carambola factory. We saw our lunches being made there. We had to put on white hats and coats for health and safety reasons. At the end of the tour we were given our lunches. We were given a pencil, a balloon and a ruler each. When we were getting on to the bus Cara and Bola came to wave us off. We had a great time there.

The next place we went to was Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Our guide for the tour of the castle was Elizabeth. She showed us around the castle. Then we went off in groups to have a look around. We saw the 'murder hole', the 'spy holes' , the trapdoor and the 'ladies' window'. The stairs were very narrow. After that we saw the old houses in the Folk Park. There was a very smokey smell inside the houses. We then went to the old school house. I would not liked to have gone to school there. We had a look at an old hardware shop. We saw a black and white wolfhound. Then we went to the gift shop.
by Cormac Maher, 4th Class.
Next stop was Craggaunowen. We went into the castle and our guide Olivia told us how things were used like a turtle's shell for plates! Then we went to the crannogs to see the old houses. We saw a souterrain in an iron age fort for the children to escape from danger. We also saw a canoe & a road dug out from Longford they were about 2,500 years old!We also saw Tim Severin's boat & we saw some wild boar too!
by Caoimhe Ivors,4th class.
Beside Bunratty Castle is Folk Park.Folk Park isold houses. The smell in the housesare treacherous because of the turf fires in the houses. We saw a old plow and a cart that horses pulled. We saw two irish wolf hounds they were really big. After that we went to the gift shop I bought a yellow pencil and a mood pen with sheep on it.

When I am 18
When I am 18 I want to be a chef. Instead of having to pay for college I will join the army and get my chef cert for free. I would like to join the army because I would like to help my country and I would like to be a chef. I would like to grow up to be like the kitchen hero because he believes in the taste not the look of his food.

He brought his two medals from boxing and showed them to pupils and teachers from the school. Then he came outside and played soccer with us. He said he will be back up for the sports day on Friday and we all hope so. He is a great boxer for Callan boxing club and narrowly lost in the All Ireland Final. We wish him the best for the future in all sports.

We were diving off boards and swimming up and down the swimming pool. That was very tiring. After we got on a boat and paddled up and down the pool. It was very good.
