Fr Breen has been our Parish Priest for a long time. He is leaving this parish and a new priest is coming. The parish he is going to is called Ballylanders in Co Limerick. A new priest is coming to our parish. His name is Fr Quirke.
We had a ceremony for Fr Breen in the school today. We gave him some gifts and we sang a song for him. Shannon, Maria and Katie played some songs on the tin whistle. Mrs. Corcoran and Ms. Crowe came back to be part of the ceremony. They gave us a box of sweets and they were yummy.

Today we had a ceremony for Fr Breen. Some parents came. We sang 'This is the Day' and we gave him a statue of The Children of Lir, a prayer and a big card with messages from everyone. Shannon and Maria played a song on their tinwhistles.Afterwards all the parents went for tea in the kitchen. Fr Breen is going to Ballylanders in Limerick. Ms. Crowe and Mrs. Corcoran came back and we got sweets from them.
